OK, I’m done. I know the flames will start but I won’t see them so don’t waste your time.
I’m as conservative as anybody. I refuse the COVID shots. I hope there is a Q. I hope our President comes back. I know COVID is a bio-virus but it’s still there. It doesn’t take a superbug to put me and a lot of others in the hospital with pneumonia.
But...I can’t take the endless mask shaming any longer. Not everybody that wears one is a “sheep” or a “stinking lib”. I have asthma. I can die from any lung infection. I’m 66. My husband is 82 so I try really hard not to bring anything, including COVID, home to him. FYI, I have been wearing a mask for at least 10 years during flu season to help me avoid any respiratory virus. I know they aren’t perfect but they could be an extra layer between me and some person that is too stupid to stay home when sick. My Pulmonary Specialist AND my primary care have both advised me to wear one during respiratory virus season and stay out of crowds. COVID is no exception.
I’m being selfish here by wishing more people would willingly wear one around other people that they don’t know, like me. I wish stores that post signs that masks are required would take them down if they won’t enforce the rules so that people like me know to stay out. It’s not being a “sheep”. It’s being respectful of others with conditions that might not be able to handle COVID. I don’t and will never support forced mask wearing. I will never shame you for not wearing one. I take responsibility for my health by staying away from crowds. I shop online and have for years during flu season. It’s sad that so many, even conservatives, will make wearing a mask political. Some of you are just as bad, just as mean, and have just as ugly a soul as some of the people you claim to hate, and yes, some of you hate.

My wife and I have warn masks on planes for +20 years now and was questioned by a doctor why I worn it. It does lower your viral load a little which is ONLY good in areas like planes and elevators. Over use of masks are damaging to your health. Extended use will lower the PH of your blood (acidosis) causing a lot worse problems then covid.
These masks rules by the CDC are not to protect us. That is obvious

Just that masks do not protect from covid, and asymptomatic people can’t pass it to anyone. I can understand your care to not get infected because of your husband’s health and your health. If masks worked, that would be another issue, but corona virus is so tiny it goes right through the masks, plus masks aren’t sealed so the air flow is all over the place.
I am praying that you did not take my post about Walmarts policy in my store personal. I take no issue with people that really need the protection of masks, etc.
My point was that most people are gullible sheep that follow the MSM and believe they hype being pushed.
I understand and agree that you should take all precautions with your health and that of your husbands health as well. I do believe this Covid is a real issue. I lost 2 distant friends from it. (NY Nursing home scandal).
I am not a hater in any way. I pray daily for people suffering from this biological attack on our country.
Please don’t take my POV from MY real life experience shared to state that I am against people with legitimate reasons for wearing masks.
The above being said, I still believe there are alot of people that are truly paranoid about COVID. Young, healthy people that before walking into store will be in groups of 5-10 laughing, close-up contact, some intimate contact.
Maybe I am not a clear concise reporter that can give details well. I was just trying to give my POV on what I see at Walmart.
No disrespect intended to you or any other persons truly needing to be protected. Please forgive me if you think I was out of line. I truly did not mean to diminish your actions to do what you think is right for you and your husband/family. I actually admire you for it.

I have no qualms with people who want to wear masks....
my problem is the stats of this virus were over stated, over counted, and in reality, you can't stop a virus just like you can't stop pollen in the air....
we have Nazi's in charge of this country's health programs, period...
If masks work then you don’t need everyone else to wear them, just wear one yourself.
If masks do not work then you are endangering yourself and should not be telling others to wear them.
Please educate yourself and make the best decision you can regarding whether you will wear a mask, nobody will attack you for wearing one if that is what you believe you need to do.
Please do not try to tell everyone else to wear one.
