I’m sure you’re not the first person to voice concern as you did.
Vaccines are a mixed bag topic nowadays.
But the one thing that’s important, they should always be a choice.
Regardless of how I may or may not feel about the Covid-19 vaccine, I will lose my mind if it ever becomes mandatory.
So it’s presumed my wife and I had Covid more than a year before the antibody test were available.
Although I still have lingering lung issues there was no confirmation.
So this Wednesday I’m getting the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
It’s my choice.
But like I said, never should anyone be forced to get vaccinated.
That will really piss me off. It’s against everything I stand for, and everything America stands for.
If I have an adverse reaction, I will make it known here.
Even if I sprout gills.......LOL

Well, I spent 4 quarters at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio in the mid 90s before transferring to a better school. It was already brainwashing kids then, but not every class was like that. But the nose was under the tent with mandatory "Black Studies" classes to help increase the hatred for whitey.
Exactly it’s a choice. In my case it was just “suspicious” that after multiple visits with my dr. they give me this Covid heavy survey. It was the first time any type of “satisfaction” survey had been sent to me since I’d been seeing the dr.I do’nt get the flu shot but last year I did finally get the Shingles vaccine.
Now both my parents have taken the Moderna two shots regimen with no adverse side effects 3 weeks later. They are planning to go visit my aunt, who lives in communist Rhode Island, where they have the NG checking arrival passengers’ Covid status. So they are good to go.

I was supposed to have a shot #1 tomorrow - VA. - I canceled both shots when problems started being reported with J&J, which I was holding out for if I was going to ever get it.
Saw the VA today and told the doctor I canceled. Her question: Did you find some issues ?” I said yes and she let it alone.
They kinda leave me alone, finally.
Dr. told me today I am too detail-oriented (can i say that ?)

Dang, I looked up those medications, it is a lengthy list. In my case, Flonase / Rinocourt alergy inhaler. Simple chewable antacids, and diuretic hydroclorothiazide. The first two I can avoid. Not the last as it is part of my blood pressure regiment.

Gov. DeSantis to Take Executive Emergency Action Against Vaccine Passports
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in a press conference on March 29 that he will take emergency executive action shortly against the concept of Americans needing a vaccine passport to be able to travel domestically and internationally.
“We’re not supportive of that. I think it’s something that people have certain freedoms and individual liberties to make decisions for themselves,” the governor said.
“It’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society.”
DeSantis said that people shouldn’t need to show proof of inoculation against the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus to go to a game, movie, theme parks, or other social events.
“You want the fox to guard the henhouse? I mean give me a break,” he said. “I understand, kind of, how some folks can embrace the idea, and I’m not saying it’s all necessarily done for bad purposes, but I think ultimately it would create problems in the state.”
He also urged the state legislature to take more permanent action.
The Biden administration will “provide guidance” on private-sector efforts to develop vaccine passports and similar systems, White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters in Washington on March 29.
Earlier this month, DeSantis had already expressed his disapproval for the idea, saying it was “totally off the table.”

He insists Georgia people are on fire, and he attributed it to the GA Legislature. The people found themselves “a few good men” to stand up, and best of all, he actually said, “You’re looking at the ghost of Stacy Abrams (😳 That’s a vision every time, aye?).
The sports thing is huge in Atlanta. Big push to stop all baseball, etc, by the chain corporations threats to leave the state. People boycotting and saying, “ Don’t let the door hitcha in the nether region”.
Pretty glorious to hear finally, one little, big splash of stand-up, coming from Somewhere, Anywhere, that’s still American. Cheering out loud crossed my mind, but Tiki pup was sleeping.
Also, 25 minutes down the road in Dallas, the local radio program callers are hopping mad. The tea pot seems to be starting to simmer.
Otoh, Texas Policy program was discussing how quiet the people have been toward the government officials, about the border disaster. One high ranking title said, “It’s Embarrassing.”
Then, asked what will motivate the people; what would it take to incite the people, he said he really didn’t know, but the evidence of ME infiltraters means risk for another potential mass loss of life.
