My father is 95. Eats bacon every day, prepared by my 93 year old (on April 2) mother. He has done for many years.

They are well, live in their own home. Text and do computer things daily, as well as bake and cook daily. They are up on everything politically and can hold discussions that you can’t imagine with their recall of people and events.

We don’t need to fall for that stuff I’m sure you’d agree. ;)

“eating 50g of unprocessed red meat – such as beef, veal, or pork – can help in fighting dementia, decreasing the risk of getting the disease by a fifth (19%).”

Cheeseburgers. They’ll literally keep you from going nuts.

Based on today’s News, it is apparent that NOT eating Bacon makes you want to go down to King Super and shoot a bunch of People.

“25g serving of bacon – one rasher – every day could increase a person’s dementia risk by up to a half.
If processed meat is bad, then the researchers also say that eating 50g of unprocessed red meat – such as beef, veal, or pork – can help in fighting dementia, decreasing the risk of getting the disease by a fifth (19%).”

So if I have my bacon on a double-cheeseburger, it’s wash! Good to know!

Rasher : a thin slice of bacon or ham broiled or fried
also : a portion consisting of several such slices
