Well, well, well - I guess I still had ‘emergency alerts’ enabled on my phone. I just got a weather alert telling me to be “weather aware” and to “know my safe space”.
Well, tonight, my safe space will be a heavy concrete building built into the side of a hill, designed to be tornado proof and bomb resistant. Can’t say the same about my house which is just an ordinary home. If I were at home when a tornado warning took place, my place is in the basement under the pool table.
Glad you have a safe space. We have talked about having a shelter dug but figure that this old house has stood in the same spot for 70 years so surely it’s not in a tornado hotspot.
