I wonder if they are drastically overstating the daily number of vaccinations because the push (example below) may mean it isn't. For example, people online will explain, "I thought I would have to wait a month but I just found out I can get it today!" or "No waiting! And here i thought it would be hard to get an  appointment."

If demand for the vaccine was conspicuously low, it's not like they would admit it.
