"taking a drive in the country" is a long tradition for Americans....
not every American can own a lake cabin, or go on cruises, or fly everywhere for a vacation....
I remember as a working class family one of our best adventures is for Dad to drive us up to the airport, maybe get an ice cream on the way home....back in the day, you could walk right in and stand by the fence to watch the planes...
I'll never forget the old America...
LOL, going to the airport to watch planes come and go was a favorite outing for us. With five kids and a stay-at-home mom, money was better spent on things besides entertainment. We loved to stand on the observation deck and watch the planes AND it was free. We were so much more free in the 50’s and 60’s.
When my mom’s parents flew out to Idaho from Virginia for Christmas back in those days their dog spent the flight up in the cockpit with the pilots eating cookies one of the other passengers had brought them.
All those type people are by far not gone, but we are isolated and the cost and effort of our interactions are far greater than then. Most are in solid “red [white and blue] country”, and the forces of darkness labor intensively to deny their followers the kind of access to them that would show them what true liberty, inclusiveness and respect is.
When I think of the people that have facilitated this atrocity on us over the past decades I crack a door into a hidden recess of myself that houses a vengeance that surely would put my soul in jeopardy were it not absolutely known that it was the Lords will...(This is why I’m and advocate for just dumping most of them on a horrible remote island in the southern hemisphere, the things they deserve can probably not be dealt out by mortals without damaging them in the process).
