Well reports are that 50mg of zinc is harmful, should not be more than 11mg. Taking 50mg depletes Just saying. As for K2 from eggs on a daily basis??

From the web: "Even moderately high intakes of zinc of about 60 milligrams per day for up to 10 weeks have been reported to reduce a copper-containing enzyme (a marker of copper status). Zinc supplements also have the potential to interact with several types of medications (such as antibiotics and diuretics). As such, be sure to discuss your zinc intake with your healthcare provider.”

Hi, part of the confusion is the conflation of elemental zn and the molecule in which the element is actually delivered (the delivery molecule e.g. picolinate being much bigger). I did investigate a cn supplement but the rationale for taking it was kind of weak and it was expensive so I dropped it. Also, covid regimens have included much higher doses (delivery molecule) of over 200 mg/day.

In regards to dosing, humans are tolerant of doses up to 10 times the recommended daily dose by the WHO (daily recommended dose = 8-11mg elemental zinc).

The doses used in registered clinical trials for COVID-19 vary between studies, with a maximum dose of zinc sulfate 220 mg.
