Honestly, I see the bad news piling up — new thread about Ford moving a plant to Mexico — and I don’t even know if I care. I don’t know where the land of my birth went to, but I’m stuck in a country that I don’t know, and don’t like, and I don’t think I care what happens to it.
Don’t let the avalanche of madness and bad news destroy you, but don’t let yourself fall into apathy, either. Apathy means they broke you. Just let it simmer in the back of your mind, so that when the time comes, you’ll have plenty of fuel for the fire.
Yeah, I feel end times. I just want to carve out a plot of land somewhere on this planet or elsewhere where I can be left alone.

I won’t argue against that. It would be different if our side won a round now and again. But that’s not happening. Red states turn blue. But blue states never turn red. Free speech is in retreat everywhere. Etc.
I will, however, offer one ray of hope. Trump came out of nowhere. And he took the country by storm. Maybe there’s another Trump just over the horizon.

Funny; I’ve arrived at the same place. It’s almost as if I’ve suffered a magnetic field reversal in caring.
It’s sort of like you’ve been trying to save someone who has screwed up their life for years, and they not only continue to screw up, they defy you. At some point you write them off. You give up. You no longer care. In fact you laugh when they fail, knowing they’ll fail. Perhaps it’s my own self-preservation kicking in. If they don’t want to be saved, then why waste my effort on them.
USA is now just a colony of Mexico and Central America. They conquered us without firing a shot. They have a standing army of 50 million on our soil, they looted our treasure, control the government, and they kill citizens without concern.
They haven’t made a good Ford automobile in over 30 yrs. I feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to buy one.
I'm not quite there yet but, boy! I know where you're coming from. My salvation is that I'm 77 years old.
I remember 20+ years ago after my son got his PhD and first really good, high paying job. I told him to make as much money as fast as he could, hide the money, move to Australia. He said why Australia? I said, they don't hate White people there yet.
BTW, he's become a multimillion dealing in real estate outside of his corporate physicist job in LA.

Ditto. I live well off the beaten path but the refugees from NYC, Greenwich, and Mass make this place look like the Texas border right now. I’m seriously working towards moving out west to an undisclosed location farther away from people.
