Such training reinforces peoples opinion, and in many cases radicalizes them and breaks their trust in command leadership. When "Equal Opportunity" became "Affirmative Action", bringing quotas, discrimination and special treatment based on race, it created hate. The unintended consequence of forcing opinions is entrenching the opposite.
I went through this crud in 1974 or 5? when we had a race conflict at Minot AFB ND. You never heard about it, I wonder why?
A SAC base full of Nukes is not a place where you want race problems. A few Blacks took over our Chow Hall. The First sergeants were dispatched to all the barracks to assure the Black guys would not get shot. Despite whatever regulations that said you have to keep your personal guns at the base armory, we mostly ignored it.
After it settled down, the blacks were transferred off base and we all had to go through the “White MAN” is bad training.
We were good airmen and gave them the answers they wanted.
A good portion of my family have served in the military.
You accomplish the mission, ignore the politics, and kill the politics if it gets in the way.
The Biden administration is fully aware that the military is not under their control. About 25% of the flag officers are resistant to stepping in and reinstating Trump. They are being pressured by the 75% to get on board, resign or step out of the way. That is what I have heard from multiple sources. The deep state is not going down without a fight.
Stand down is DoD wide. Doesn’t mean much and there’s a couple months to do it. No service takes the same day off. Plenty of discretion in doing it.
Previous stand downs have occurred for things like suicide prevention.
The ‘Village People’ must be happy that their song “In The Navy” would get to be played throughout the fabulous fleet, especially on the USNS Harvey Milk.

The military is the least racist segment of our society...the enemy is trying to change that.
It appears that a majority of our elected representatives are okay with this.
The navy preaches prejudice towards one race over others.

I hope you’re right, but like the Germans did with their army, I suspect they’re preparing for a big purge. Hopefully our military goes more “Luftwaffe” than “SS” in the end. At least the Luftwaffe had honor.
