I see this same phenomenon with tree leaves all of the time. There will be hardly any breeze, but you will see one dangling leaf wiggling like crazy due to its shape and angle into the slight breeze.
A similar phenomenon has caused the destruction of bridges and sometimes, tragically, the crash of small planes when the wing struts are not tight enough and they start vibrating.

I just installed a watt meter on each of the mains to have a look at where the money goes. The average use is about 20kWh per day. So 1 kWh would help.
Even 500W for 24? hours a day would be a huge number.

My gas boiler with three pumps draws 265 W steady-state, <300W starting. If need be, run the pumps manual and not cycling.
Keep the house warm, domestic hot water, a laptop, and reading light?
I can get by without a fridge in the winter and the stove is gas.
This is a useless gimmick for starting a Pyramid sales scam. Wind turbines work because there is quite a bit of energy in wind, and he blades sweep a large area to harvest a lot of the energy. This thing has a very small profile area so it doesn’t have much energy to capture. It also operates at resonance. Harvesting energy dampens out the vibration so its heralded operational characteristic actually prevents it from having much value.
There will be huge amounts of gravy from the fed gov for big wind, sleazy solar, etc. Just like Solyndra, etc in the Obama years.
So you can imagine all the scams that will be rolling out.
