I went to Tractor Supply the other day because when I drove by the door it said “masks required”. When I got in there most customers weren’t wearing one so I left and ordered what I needed online. I’m not forced to shop there.

Nobody should be forced either way by government. Businesses can make their own rules, either way, but don’t make false claims to get me in the door.

I don’t understand your reasoning.

Some business are required to post the mandate because of the “home office” not their own choice. If they let the mandate slide, it could be their way of resistance.

Nope, no businesses here are required to require them. I don’t care if they require them or not as long as I know before I get in the store. A lot say they are recommended but don’t stick a masks required sign on the door if you won’t enforce it. That’s misleading.

Ok, I read your reply again and I think what you are saying is that home office mandates it but local stores won’t comply. That’s ok. They won’t resist and lure me in again. I have learned to sit in the car and watch people go in and out. If I see them going in without the so-called required mask I just go elsewhere. Now, if nobody else is inside I go in because the companies all require the employees to wear them around customers. If there isn’t a crowd I go in. I just think it’s misleading for them to say they are required and not enforce it.
