I guess I’m a real weirdo, then. Never been a movie buff, although I saw a light smattering over the years when they had the VHS rental stores, and I did watch “Breaking Bad” with hubby. Watched “The Chosen” online recently, and enjoyed it immensely (season 2 starts soon. Yay!) Always hated movie theaters.
I’ve only ever truly enjoyed listening to music from the romantic, classical, baroque and renaissance periods. I dislike reading fictional stories, and can’t remember what was on regular TV last time I watched it. (It was more recent than the ‘70s - Miami Vice, maybe? *shrug”) Used to love the old comedy shows, when comedians were brilliant and funny without being raunchy, way back when. Those were fun times. We unplugged from the dish for good somewhere around the turn of the century.
I bet I could get banned in five minutes if I took a shot.

Sounds a bit slow to me. Betcha you could do it faster than that if ya really wanted to.
I’ll be happy to contribute, make sure to put me on the ping list. :)
And since I can't remember my own posts, you can imagine my stress level.

Now that the derps have all the kinks worked out of the vote fraud operation, expect another power grab.

I earned that. Last suspension was for 30 days and my account is still on warning. Bastards.

One Observatory Circle’s having a major remodel...that’s their story and they are sticking to it.
LOL! I’m a metal head and I know of that song but I’m 56. Me thinks my beloved LJ may be younger than I thought?

I’ve cut myself off emotionally from actor’s politics. I simply enjoy film for what it is. I have to separate the two otherwise I wouldn’t have anything to watch or listen to.
One of the reasons why I love the band Iron Maiden so much is they NEVER talk politics ever. Why alienate half your fan base? BTW, I’m getting involved in my fourth Iron Maiden tribute project. I’m looking extremely forward to it. (drums)

I’m not worried but have taken steps to decrease my online presence and changed my voter registration.
If they come for me I will die with my boots on because Iron Maiden told me to.

Mislabeled - that’s Louie Armstrong - it brings the tears for me and I don’t listen to it much anymore
The theme song in Vietnam was the Animals “We Gotta Get Out Of This Place”.
My running mate and my favorite song was “What a Wonderful World”.
We targeted a 7 day “out of country” R&R in Thailand over the Christmas holiday.
We took one day “in-country” R&R @ China Beach 11/30/70. I made it back.
I wasn’t going on that Thailand R&R alone.
I love and hate that song.
Contrary to what LSM may have reported about the ODNI report confirming that Hunter’s laptop was a Russian Operation, the report does not say that, in fact, I don’t see the laptop mentioned-but I did skim it rather fast-so could have missed it.

Mexico’s president helps govern USA southern border is a bombshell.
The Biden administration is too buck stupid to manage a garage sale, and to realize the humiliation and insult being delivered.
An obviously epic effort to save us, and Mexico. Thanks be to God.
And What a hard slap to our
mentally disabled administrator, running our country on naps and helicopter rides to his doggies in Delaware.
My music is the old Gospel songs by the Jordanaires and I have a disc that my sister recorded of Gospel songs that she and her husband made. I love the songs, but it’s kinda hard to listen to now, since she passed away not too long ago.
I find that I don’t really miss TV all that much and I get more done on my to do lists than I used to. I don’t believe that the old time movie stars were as bad as they are today, and I don’t think it was as widespread either.
So If I was going to watch anything, I’d watch reruns of old Westerns—where the good guys wear white hats and the good guys always win. Ha.

What's odd is, search YouTube for 'Ray Charles Wonderful World' and you get many different videos marked 'Ray Charles' and every one is Satchmo.
I guess to YouTube, they all look the same.

At first I was able to maintain that separation, and probably still do in some areas, because I reject cancel culture in general. But for at least 2 years now my ability to separate it has been fading and I just can't do it. Not really a voluntary decision - I just can't do it.
OKay so I thought I'd check out Iron Maiden album covers to remind myself what they played/published (don't look at me like that). It's prolly gonna be hard pass for me, just looking at the title of the article. HAHAHAHA!
