...are there to buy/sell? Purchased some ammo & my co-buyer fell through so looking for alternate sites to sell. I like Gunbroker but it's complicated to get set up as a seller. I believe places like Facebook, Craigslist all ban.
Any insights are appreciated.
P.S.: thought about gun shows or swap meets but I'm assuming there's a minimum table purchase.

Have you asked a small, local firearms dealer about making a consignment deal?
I used Gunbroker for a while, but as a buyer you have to sort through a lot of “wish list” sellers demanding unrealistic prices. With patience, though, I’d find a good deal from time to time.
But there are some bad sellers, and Gunbroker does not do anything to punish them. I bought what was advertised as a perfect rolling block rifle, the pictures looked decent, and the seller made representations about the gun. It was a fair deal at the advertised price.
When I got the gun, it was literally cobbled together from mismatched parts, all in rough shape.
The seller told me “No Returns!” and when I complained to Gunbroker they said “Well, that’s too bad. You can leave bad feedback if you like.”
Really? I can “leave bad feedback”? I was out $600.
One bad deal like that can put you behind, so I just avoid them now.
I’d run into other sketchy sellers there, mostly sellers who wouldn’t honor a deal if I won an auction at decent price.
Here’s all mine, collected over the years, for buying and selling:

There are discussion boards similar to FreeRepublic for specific brands. S&W, Colt, Ruger, AR, AK, and such.
Most have buy & sell boards. Generally need to join to post but that’s usually quite easy. I like using those as you have a targeted, interested and knowledgeable audience.

A fellow freeper, like me, may be interested in procuring your excess inventory depending on where you are located and what products you have.

I’m going to call a dealer on Monday, but I was under the impression that for them to sell, they have to know the source. A dealer told me that when I was looking into to trading a gun and ammo. He said the ammo would have to be for his personal use.
That’s a great idea!! That’s why I ask these types of questions on FR because of the depth of knowledge.
There’s pretty much a limit anywhere you buy. I’ve got some 9m on back order with a January 2022 expected ship date from opticsplanet and 38 +P expected ship date June 2021.
There’s a ton of websites and far to many to list.
I just sold a gun to them for what I thought was a very good price, and much less hassle or anxiety of trying to deal with a private buyer on Gunbroker or any other gun auction site.
And I received about the same net proceeds that I would have gotten out of Gunbroker, after Gunbroker's fees and any shipping costs and FFL transfer fees are taken into account. (Make no mistake, as the seller, YOU end up paying shipping and FFL fees even if you state that buyer pays, because you'll just receive lower bids.)
If you accept the offer, then Guns.com sends you a shipping label (and box if necessary,) and when they receive the gun, as long as it checks out to be what you represented, the money is direct deposited into your bank account (or you can receive a check if you prefer.)
And you don't have to keep relisting your gun because your reserve wasn't met.
Quick, easy, and secure.
Wait! You’re selling AMMO? What kind and for how much?!?
