“Guess who these ‘geniuses’ voted for in 2020. In fact my friends from growing up, many with IQs closer to 100, all voted for Trump - it was a no-brainer for them.”

An interesting aspect is that IQ, per Jordan Peterson, mostly measures speed of processing. It has nothing to do with character, creativity, decency or respect for one’s fellows. Socialism tends to attract 2 types of people, those who have contempt for themselves and cannot provide well for themselves and those who have contempt for others and need someone to look down upon. It’s a very unhappy ideology.

Clearly so. Literally ALL of the leaders who have pushed Socialism were academically geniuses. They only paid with their lives AFTER the people who got power realized that these ‘geniuses’ could easily turn on them. Before that, they were ‘best-buddies’ with the people they empowered.

Exactly. Intelligence and character are completely separate. Some of the sweetest-tempered people you’ll ever meet are those born with Down Syndrome. And of course their IQs are quite low. And we all know really bright people who are evil SOBs.
