The video of Big Mama Cass watching Janis Joplin sing, “Ball and Chain” is unbelievable. Just went back to YouTube and watched it again for the ‘millionth’ time.
She used to rent the house behind my friends cabin near Bolton Landing Lake George for summers. Must have been the early 70's.
It was even more amazing to actual be there - not to mention all the rest of the show - hard to imagine now - makes me sad she’s gone - Great movie about her - Janis, Little Girls Blue.
I watched that a couple weeks ago. A documentary on youtube.
