Yes, this is a vanity, because in these times we all need a break, and thats why I come here sometimes. So...who do you choose?
Tiny Tim, ca 1970.
Saw FOGHAT at Chicago Jam with RUSH. Unbelievable show. Still have the visor\hat with the word “Fog” on it.
I saw quite a few of the bands listed here, but the best concert I ever saw was the Doors, Dec. 31, 1967, at the Family Dog in Denver.
Allmen Joy also played.
You could summon demons with Led Zeppelin’s first album, but that’s hardly a recommendation.
Without a doubt! And I saw the real Lynyrd Skynyrd at Mile High Stadium (my second choice).

Take your pick they were all great shows in their day,Heart , Queen, Mitch Ryder, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper, Burton Cummings, Blew Oyster Cult, Deep Purple, I could go on and on, i lived in Windsor Ont. across the river from Detroit and my brothers girlfriends father was the radio station manager at CKLW Radio hence i we could afford to go to so many concerts.
The Band
In no particular order:
Dire Straits
The Eagles w/ Randy Meissner
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
Foreigner
I believe it was the last live concert anywhere due to the shutdown.

I’d like to see a “Gone to Soon” concert including Jim Croce, Harry Chapin, Steve Goodman, John Prine, John Denver, Glen Campbell and as a special guest, a fellow who I had followed to too many bars a long, long time ago (and he passed away too young as well), Holly Garber. All I can say is that if you had ever had the pleasure to see that young fellow play and sing, you’d understand.
And if that can’t be arranged, a good Waylon and Willie concert would be nice. Maybe with special guest, Johnny Cash?....
Saw Floyd on the animals tour. They had giant inflatable animals floating outside Soldier’s Field in Chicago. One broke free and landed in Lake Shore Drive and stopped traffic. Epic day. epic concert. Pity Roger Waters became comfortably dumb supporting the Palestinians and hating on Israel.
The regular band that played in the bandshell on Daytona Beach during the 40s and 50s.
Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen
Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys
Stan Kenton
ABBA
Sex Pistols
I saw him in Tulsa, 3 months before he died.
