Our federal government is now suffering from what one might call Mass Paranoid Disorder of Psychotic Proportions.
After 35 years, I retired my license to diagnose and treat individuals and families for behavioral health issues. But as a retired clinical psychologist tracking news and social media, I believe that, since the 2020 election, our federal government is now officially insane. It suffers from what one might call Mass Paranoid Disorder of Psychotic Proportions. This is not an official psychiatric disorder, but if it were, primary symptoms would be similar to those of individual paranoid disorders, but on a massive collective group level, and include:
a) pervasive suspiciousness and distrust of others' motives,
b) delusions of grandiosity and, because of their "specialness," delusions of persecution,
c) misinterpretation of innocuous behavior as major insults or attacks,
d) rigid inability to forgive with a tendency to hold grudges,
e) heightened vigilance and scanning for real or imagined threats, and
f) use of projection as the primary defense mechanism (e.g., "We're not the angry, dangerous ones with hate and hostile intent; that's all of you who are out to get us.”).
What else can explain:
a) the recent establishment of security fences, razor wire and tens of thousands of troops surrounding our Capitol,
b) the obsession with boogeymen like alleged white supremacists, so-called right wing “domestic terrorists,” the shadowy “QAnon” entity, everyday Trump supporters and even Trump himself,
c) the need to keep middle class Americans locked down, isolated, separated and silenced to “cancel” and neutralize the threat they imagine that we represent, or
d) the astounding level of arrogance and unjustified moral superiority evident in the message that the government knows better and is therefore, in true communist form, entitled to override our constitutional rights?

Corruption and dirty deeds creates paranoia.
Many in our ruling class got there not by effort and intelligence, but by birth and/or family connections, or by their charisma.
They are often unintelligent, immature and jealous of those with true skills and intelligence. They are shielded from the real world and real people, cannot relate with them, and consider them (us) inferiors.
They’re paranoid about the truth about them, about their unfitness, becoming known to the masses.
Yes, many of them are also paranoid about going to prison for their crimes and treason.
They all walk around with knowledge of their crime in stealing an election. They know all about the wonderful nation our founders created and how evil it is to destroy it. And as a group, they hide and cover up large amounts of homosexuality, pedophilia, sex trafficking, shady money, drugs and blackmail.
This guilt loaves turn with constant fear of being exposed and of righteous justice. Ergo, a paranoid guilt-ridden personality.
The classic tell was when those protesters walked into the Capitol. They fled in absolute terror! None of them walked out to simply greet and interact even thought it was safe to do so. Their panic revealed that they thought they were facing accountability. They were like someone who flees at the mere sight of a police car. Tells you all you need to know.
And that’ll be any day now, right? C’mon, man!

The phenomenon is called “regression to the mean”, where exceptionally gifted people (who achieve great fortunes) will not necessarily have offspring who are so gifted. They might be above average, but the top 1% of the general population will be better.
This is what the elites fear: being supplanted and displaced by others.
This is why the elites try so hard to turn the regular schools into crap, to cripple the education of common people.
Dictatorships tend to be paranoid.

They just committed the biggest crime on planet Earth. They stole the election of the most powerful nation. This is the natural reaction to it.

They know that Joseph McCarthy and the House Committee on Un-American Activities was right to stamp out the influence of Communists in America working together with the KGB to promote the Soviet Union’s policies.
They were angry about the blacklisting of people. They were angry that Communists were getting exposed and boycotted by the general public. Today they are all FOR blacklisting and political witchhunts.
