Remember, vaccine is NOT for making you feel better. It is like buying house insurance. Your house does not look any better because of insurance. It is only meant to avoid a catastrophic event later.
You are better off with vaccine than without it, just like house insurance.
I have home insurance, flood insurance and I’m happy to get the vaccine. As you say, it’s not about feeling better it’s backup in the event of a catastrophe...
That said, the people I know who’ve gotten their shots DO feel better. Less anxious shopping and being out and much more content than before the shots... like they can finally exhale.
Since my first shot is next week I’ve discovered I don’t want to jinx my chances - - and for the first time I’m uneasy going out... I’ve dodged this illness for a year and I’m not interested in getting it in the next 6 days.
