*SIGH* Lucky you! I have to be satisfied with crumby old apples, peaches, pears and plums!
I would LOVE to have my own Avocado tree, though I hear they are very messy.

I planted an avocado tree 30 years ago when we moved in and lost it - I was told at the local nursery they are hit or miss where I live, and have a 50-50 chance of survival.
Those weren’t good odds for me - and I don’t see them in my neighborhood so I’m not sure they do well around me - Southern California is filled withe micro-climates.
That said, I planted one last year again - and so far it’s still alive, but growing very slowly.
Unlike citrus - I had so many lemons last year on my tree the trunk split in half. We pruned it way back and said a few prayers over it - and now it’s thriving and covered in lemon blossoms. The smell in the backyard is heavenly.
