I was thinking about their terminology and it occurred to me that Fascism was NOT a dirty word 100 years ago, as it had never been tried, and what was going on clearly wasn’t working when the Depression hit. So what the heck, give Fascism a spin and see if things get better.
Now, of course, the term is associated with genocide, wars of aggression, and all-around suffering.
So the Left was VERY CLEVER and assigned the now-discredited word to our side, while doing EXACTLY what the Fascists did 100 years ago. It’s scary to think about it, but that’s what we now have to deal with.
That does not mean there would not be considerable bloodshed, but it will be from domestic strife, not foreign encounters.
As a given, in the practice of communist/totalitarian regimes, patriots defending the "fundamentally flawed" Constitution will be described as "criminals", "thugs", "reactionaries", etc. Just as today many should be ashamed of being white or "privileged". (/snort)
What's even worse is that it was our side that initially embraced those trade deals. Yes, the left signed on later, but it was W and the GOP that got us into those free trade deals with the communists, and many at FR defended them. I was even called stupid for choosing to pay more for buying America.
Well to those who defended our free trade deals with the communists, how's it working out for you now? Did you enjoy watching Biden's inauguration on those communist made TVs you saved a bundle on?
Chicoms definitely got a body count headstart, that's certain.
