A shocking discovery out of a Baltimore City high school, where Project Baltimore has found hundreds of students are failing. It’s a school where a student who passed three classes in four years, ranks near the top half of his class with a 0.13 grade point average.
Tiffany France thought her son would receive his diploma this coming June. But after four years of high school, France just learned, her 17-year-old must start over. He’s been moved back to ninth grade.
“He’s stressed and I am too. I told him I’m probably going to start crying. I don’t know what to do for him,” France told Project Baltimore. “Why would he do three more years in school? He didn’t fail, the school failed him. The school failed at their job. They failed. They failed, that’s the problem here. They failed. They failed. He didn’t deserve that.”
France’s son attends Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts in west Baltimore. His transcripts show he’s passed just three classes in four years, earning 2.5 credits, placing him in ninth grade. But France says she didn’t know that until February. She has three children and works three jobs. She thought her oldest son was doing well because even though he failed most of his classes, he was being promoted. His transcripts show he failed Spanish I and Algebra I but was promoted to Spanish II and Algebra II. He also failed English II but was passed on to English III.
This is a public school, which means the teachers there belong to the same unions currently issuing endless demands about money and reopening schools.

It’s not all the teachers’ fault. Consider the culture of the students they had to work with where those who tried to succeed were accused of “acting white”, which today it is the equivalent of eating babies.
That’s why momma had to work three jobs.

Despite this kid’s poor academic performance, I’d bet he could tell you an island cannot tip over if there are too many people on one side.

To graduate from high school every student in this country should have to take and pass a knowledge test.
PERIOD.
He missed 272 school days or was late in 3 years. So he attended class 50% of the time and he definitely rode the short bus.

This is what I call Democrat Induced Helplessness Syndrome (DIHS). The rats want to keep their slaves on the inner city plantation, so they rig the system to keep them ignorant. The school can blame mom, mom can blame the school (or whitey), and the rats in charge can beg for more money to fix it all while pocketing said money and doing nothing. Everyone gets an excuse and a scapegoat, which is all you need in ratland.
I believe that the main reason they hate President Trump with such a white hot passion is that he threatened to free the slaves and give them honest work at honest pay.

She was working 3 jobs, and the school was sending him on to each next grade. How was she to know?
Same but different happened to our daughter, who was getting As and Bs.
I had taught her some reading before school, then didn't pay attention, as I figured the school would take care of it.
When she was in 3rd grade, I asked her to read something to me, and found she was illiterate.
Pulled both of the kids out of school and homeschooled them.
I am still mad as hell about paying taxes to support public "education" and having to do their job for them.
I don't blame that parent one bit.
Every "educator" and administrator in that district that had anything to do with hers son's "education" should be publicly whipped until unconscious and fired, never allowed to work in a school again.
