Pretty soon libraries will have only two shelves - one labeled Socialism, the other Communism. All other books having been banned, burned on one pretext or another - Girolamo Savonarola would be proud.

The key books available will be Chairman Mao’s Red Book, and perhaps the wit and wisdom of the Kims of North Korea.
I wish we could joke about such things, but this isn’t a joke, when these liberals, who in other contexts tells us they oppose censorship, actively set out to censor things.

I get your point. People who take away Dr. Suess from others are unethical and anti-American.
However, Savonarola has a different story. He wanted to take away the pornography in the art in Firenze in the 1450’s then got mixed up with the mafia.
