Soon, Joanna Gaines’ "perfect" biscuits will be available to buy online, according to reports.

The Magnolia co-founder and lifestyle guru revealed the recipe for her biscuits in January on her cooking show "Magnolia Table." But if cooking isn’t your thing, Magnolia will be selling frozen biscuit dough starting April 1, Travel and Leisure reported Wednesday.

According to the website, fans can buy the frozen dough from the Magnolia website and it will be shipped from the Gaines’ restaurant, Magnolia Table.

Travel and Leisure reported that a dozen frozen biscuits cost $25, plus another $15 for shipping.

“I can’t stand her or her husband anymore.”

Someone told me a few months ago they started their own Magnolia Network because the one they were on (I don’t even know what it is ‘cause I don’t watch any of them) was getting too homo-centric. If that’s true, and they’re doing this to take a stand against LGBTQXYZTPDQ, then I can give ‘em a break.

Mary B’s frozen biscuits are good, cheap and convenient. We love ‘em.

I guess I’m just an old fuddy duddy; it takes less than 5 minutes to put together a batch of biscuits from scratch (self rising flour, butter or lard, and milk), and another 4 or 5 minutes to shape them and put them in a pan to bake. There’s convenience, then there’s absurdity.

I make my own buttermilk drop biscuits.

They are awesome.

Finding decent buttermilk is a PITA, but it’s worth it.

Bulgarian buttermilk is the best (for biscuits and pancakes).

Make your own buttermilk, by making your own butter. Ridiculously easy. Heavy cream is $1.55/pint at Aldi. Stir a couple tablespoons real cultured sour cream (no additives) in a pint of cream, cover it and leave it on the counter for a couple of days, add a pinch of salt, then beat it til it turns to butter. The liquid remaining is buttermilk. Pour it into a jar and keep in fridge til you need to use it to make biscuits, then you have to wash the butter in ice water til water runs clear, pour it off, and shape and wrap the butter.

I made home made egg roll wrappers the other day. Same recipe as home made pasta. I rolled them out by hand. It was ridiculously easy to get them super thin. The secret? -— after mixing the dough, let it rest for ten minutes, then knead it and rest dough for 30 minutes, then roll them out thin, then flour them and fold them up, rest 30 minutes, roll out twice as thin. The resting stage makes them unbelievably easy to roll out. Use for pasta, won tons, egg rolls, or noodles. All the same dough -— flour, salt, whole eggs, and water.

Probably because they obviously FORGOT those very humble beginnings, and are now gouging people for every single thing they sell.

Normal milk does fine with baking powder, which is what’s in self rising flour. It’s baking soda that requires the acid of buttermilk. You can certainly use buttermilk with the baking powder instead of baking soda, but you must have something acidic to activate baking soda.

We’re not talking about gas for your car or milk for your kids. They sell high-end products to people who can afford them. Just like there are high-end homes, cars, refrigerators, shoes, and computers. I don’t think it’s gouging if it’s a luxury item that isn’t a necessity. But I can see how people think the Gaines’ have abandoned their “regular people” beginnings. But if I had a product that I could sell for $5 or $50, I’m selling for $50.

Joanna, holler at me when you've got some affordable keto recipes. Also, help Chip with his grooming. His hair always looks icky and dirty.

Used to love y'all. Now I'm just indifferent.
