Well, I’m 70, and not particularly concerned about dying from the ‘rona instead of any of the many, many other things that could kill me.
We Catholics used to say this prayer:
Prayer to St. Joseph for a Happy Death
O Glorious St. Joseph, behold, I choose thee today for my special patron in life and at the hour of my death. Preserve and increase in me the spirit of prayer and fervor in the service of God. I was raised by a Christian Scientist father. They don’t believe in doctors or medicine. I know these people. Dolly Parton is correct. I have avoided getting COVID, not because I have followed rational restrictions (mask, distancing and vaccination), but because everyone has followed them. We ALL benefit.

Dolly, you had to go there. First, of all, I am NOT a coward. I work at a job dealing with the public ever day, looked at the recovery rate of well over 99.9% for most people and I decided that the loss of freedoms was not worth it. I have gotten the covid virus and I recuperated after about 5 days. And all this time I rarely wore a mask.
