Rush Limbaugh Laid to Rest in St. Louis Cemetery

Conservative radio pioneer Rush Limbaugh was laid to rest during a private ceremony at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri, on Wednesday, according to the Southeast Missourian.

97.1 FM TALK reports:

Sources say the north St. Louis County cemetery was closed to the public for several hours Wednesday, as an estimated 40 family members and dignitaries had to clear security before being allowed through the gates.

Many expected Limbaugh to be buried in his hometown of Cape Girardeau, Mo. Instead, he will rest in eternity alongside some of St. Louis’s most famous residents.

Limbaugh’s widow, Kathryn, told the Southeast Missourian that a virtual ceremony will come later.

“Missouri’s native son Rush Limbaugh was laid to rest today. Rush’s legacy in our state and across the nation will not be forgotten,” Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) said in a statement.

Limbaugh passed away on February 17 at the age of 70 after a battle with advanced lung cancer.

Limbaugh, host of The Rush Limbaugh Show for 32 years, had been battling Stage 4 lung cancer since January 2020. Just days after announcing his diagnosis, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Donald Trump during the State of the Union on February 4, 2020.

I hope they have the good sense to secure his burial site.

Something tells me the left would like to drench it in urine

I’m a 30 year listener as well. I was very fortunate to be able to listen to Rush during the day most of these 30 years. The people that I shared an office with throughout the years wanted to hear him as well.

Well, he always said he’d tell us when all hope was lost and it was time to hit the road, but he ever did.

I hope there’s 24/7 security or he’s in a tomb. The leftists will go crazy on his grave, if allowed.

I remember seeing the Rush Rooms advertised in the paper back in the day. Wondered what the hell they were. Was it the band? Heh!

His family is buried in Cape. This is a private cemetery with security. It is in a bad part of town but where many famous people and families are buried. A pretty snitzy place to end up.

I thought about that, the other day. He never got to tell us that it was time to panic.

Maybe he wrote it down, for someone else to tell us, for him.

RIP dear Rush.

The reason men like Rush, Ronald Reagan, and Trump are admired and revered is due to their living their faith and beliefs. They hold their principles high without apology or compromise in the same way all true Americans do. This sets them apart from politicians, pundits, and imitators parading as statesmen. This coupled with the fact that they are as equally at ease with heads of state or regular hard working Americans from every walk of life as well as their respect for the rights of every man as equal in the sight of God and the Constitution made them larger than life but truly approachable to a common man of honest and honorable deportment.

With the passing of Ronald Reagan I lost a hero, with Rush I lost a dear friend and companion, however with POTUS TRUMP The Best is Yet to Come! Let us not go quietly into the night!
