this, plus on thousand times; I despise the buckling the public branch of the medical community has done to effect the will of the political class...that doctors and nurses engage in public TV and radio blitzes to misinform the populace and keep them amenable to ridiculous prohibitions on their everyday lives is nothing less than despicable despicable...
there are several on this website, medics themselves, I suspect, or who are related to a healthcare professional, who out of hand dismiss any notion that their community has botched the response to this virus; politicians, yeah, they accept they screwed it up, the media, yeah they screwed it up big time too, but doctors and nurses...? no way, their intentions and actions are as pure as the wind driven snow...
infuriating...
I have never had much respect for the medical community, but this past year has really driven that point home for my wife and I. Take EVERYTHING they say with a grain of salt, especially the younger ones.
