We have finally reached the height of the Roman Empire.
Rome’s citizens became used to a constant stream of free food and entertainment in the Coliseum and coliseums in lands they had conquered. Rome’s senate was replace by edicts from the emperor, and Roman generals were constantly involved in out-of-country military endeavors to bring booty back to the Roman citizens.
Today, in place of free food, we have handouts of covid relief, food stamps, aid for dependent children, welfare, and medicade.
In place of entertainment in the colosseum, we have sports, and programs through cable, dish, streaming, and movie theatres.
All this to disguise our American Republic being compromised by international conglomerates, and the Red Chinese.
In place of out-of-country military adventures, our military is permantently deployed overseas, as we continually supporting other countries that refuse to defend themselves.
How little things have changed.
During the Trump administration, we had a bright shining four year interlude without a new war starting, and American citizens were put first.
