THE CHINESE ARE LEAVING US IN THE DUST!

AN INTERNET SURVEY OF RECENT CHINESE ACHEIVEMENTS

China a has to put an end to its old practice of following others countries’ footsteps, and is now conducting research into a 180,000-ton double hull aircraft carrier because compared with a monohull aircraft carrier, it has exceptional advantages. It will have a huge capacity, capable of carrying 125 J-20 fighter jets enough to destroy any existing aircraft carrier in the world. The double hull carrier will have two identical runways for simultaneous taking off and landing. October 2013. A nuclear submarine servicing port will be included between the hulls, allowing unseen servicing.

China currently owns more US Presidents than America does.

“They are a unified central leadership group with “Make China the Greatest!” their core ideal. They plan far ahead and patiently but constantly move toward their goals. They pride themselves in their own culture, in their intelligence and in winning. They can be ruthless.”

And by 2030, the average age in China will be 50. You don’t win wars with armies of grandpas. BTW, China’s “plan far ahead” included aborting its future.

“Keep your ChiCom fear porn”

I have been hearing this for 20 years and China has yet to implode, go democratic or go backwards.
They are starting to eat our lunch in 10 on the most crucial industries.

So this is the way I see it.

China has two mindsets about the things they make and sell. Yes, they actually can make quality stuff when they want to.

But they also realize there’s a whole world out there that will buy crap and not know the difference.

So they intentionally segment what they sell. And they have gotten Americans to believe, through such intermediaries as Walmart and other bargain and discount sellers, that you should just be buying crap, and when it breaks a year later, you just buy more crap.

“Hard to believe what they’ve accomplished in only 40 years.”

Newton said he ‘stood on the shoulders of giants’.

In this case, the Chinese did something similar.

“When the Japanese and European companies that pioneered high-speed rail agreed to build trains for China, they thought they’d be getting access to a booming new market, billions of dollars worth of contracts and the cachet of creating the most ambitious rapid rail system in history.
What they didn’t count on was having to compete with Chinese firms who adapted their technology and turned it against them just a few years later.”

“”See, this is nothing like Kawasaki’s bullet train,” chimes in Wu Qunliang, chief spokesman for the CSR factory. “Real original innovation is rare,” adds Wang Xinhong, another senior engineer. “We attained our achievements in high-speed train technology by standing on the shoulders of past pioneers.””

“But Kawasaki, in a statement, says it and other high-speed train producers disagree with China’s claim that it has created its own technology. ...”

“Any company bringing new technology, innovation or ideas to China has to deal with shanzhai, what one could readily refer to as ‘bandit’ culture,” says Andrew Forbes Winkler, an analyst with Commodore Research & Consultancy in New York. “From cellphones to automobiles, Chinese companies have taken pride in using others’ intellectual property and either innovating or counterfeiting goods.”

But simply not the case.

Not much that our government does quickly, but yes.

And they could lock up all the foreign national workers in some out of the place like Heart mountain Wyoming or Tule Lake California!

Possible, not probable.

That doesn’t mean it will work well though.

True.

They will get it right.

TRUE.
But they had 1,500 Marines and all their gear on one side.

YES – VERY DEPRESSING, TELL YOUR GRANDCHILDREN TO LEARN MANDARIN.

Ironically, I’ve been studying Mandarin for the past 1 1/2 years. (I’ve also been studying Korean for perhaps 3-4 years.)

I’ll tell you a secret. Spoken Mandarin is not all that hard. It is a very straightforward and fairly simple language. Not like Korean which is unbelievably complicated.

But there are 2 things that are hard. The first is the tones. As a non-native speaker you have a hard time distinguishing the tones.

The other thing which is the killer is the written character system. There is no way around simply memorizing them, which takes years and years and years.

The irony? I suspect even the Chinese are losing the ability to write characters, even though they can of course read them. Everyone in China now has computers and smartphones. When you want to write something, you write it in pinyin (western alphabet with tone marks) and your computer/smartphone automatically translates it into Chinese characters.
