Tiger Woods was hospitalized after being involved in a single-car accident in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. The extent of any potential injuries, as well as the circumstances of the accident, remain unclear.
Woods, 45, was in California for a two-day content shoot with Golf Digest/GOLFTV after serving as host for the PGA Tour's Genesis Invitational over the weekend. Pictures surfaced on social media of Woods smiling with Dwayne Wade and David Spade at Rolling Hills Country Club on Monday, but with his movement still restricted, he did not hit balls or play any holes. The shoot involved Woods giving on-course lessons to a number of celebrities, but he mostly provided instruction and hit a few putts. He was in good spirits on Monday but did not arrive to the course for the second day of shooting.
On Sunday, Woods told CBS’ Jim Nantz that he was awaiting the results of an upcoming MRI before he could ramp up practicing and training for a return to competition.
Woods last competed alongside his son at the PNC Championship, which finished on Dec. 20 in Orlando. He then underwent a microdiscectomy procedure to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching a nerve. It was his fifth back surgery overall and the first since his spinal fusion in April 2017.
The wooden sign blasted into pieces by the impact had the words- Rolling Hills, with other unreadable characters underneath.
You are welcome.
The theory is that Tiger started moving into these S-curves going down hill to cause him to exceed the control necessary to stay on the road. In that situation, he hit that median strip; wiping out the sign as his car went into the oncoming traffic lanes. Then he went off the road, missing a huge tree but did wipe out a smaller tree that caused the car to flip over end-for-end to rest on the driver’s side. Do you suppose he did it because of excessive speed or an effort to miss a car driving on the wrong side of the median strip? The distance that sign was thrown would be a clue to his speed. That there were no brake tracks says it was a instantaneous loss of control. The place where he lost control was near a huge set of trees where their shadow could have obscured the curve in the road, or an oncoming car on the wrong side of the median.
Those photos show no information about where Tiger’s car hit that sign as he crossed over the median strip.
Or southbound oncoming traffic which almost would certainly have been fatal to those unfortunate enough to been in those southbound lanes. He’s lucky he didn’t kill one or more innocents in this incident.
I'm curious, how do you know all the facts of this accident when it is still being under investigation?
The only explanation I can come up with is that you were there and witnessed it. So tell us, what exactly happened and what did you tell to the police?
This occurred during the morning commute. If there was anyone in the oncoming lane, the head-on collision would have been all over for Woods. When Tiger’s car flipped over onto the driver’s side, Tiger would have been in contact with the moving ground. I bet his legs may have had contact with the ground as the car slid along. Yikes!
As soon as his vehicle hit the curb/center divider, there should have been post impact skids as his vehicle crossed into the southbound lanes. Where are they? He should have been standing on his brakes...Yet no post impact skids were visible.
Ch 7 is on this for hours. The road is mostly straight.
He had to be driving too fast and spun out or was looking at his cell phone. I bet the car company will be sued and the city as well.

Since you know all the facts, what is the speed limit on that stretch of the highway and how fast was Woods traveling?.......
Surely you can share that with us can't you?
Where did you get that?
He was on his way to the second day of a commercial shoot with Dwayne Wade and other celebrities.
The alternate explanation is the possibility that another driver, being unfamiliar with the road, made a left hand turn into the oncoming lane of traffic by not going past the median strip to make his turn. Tiger unexpectedly saw him moving towards him and veered off to the left to avoid him.
antilock brakes have a tendency to prevent that...
As I mentioned earlier, the speed limit on that stretch is probably 40-45 mph.
How fast was he traveling?
Lets see, investigators on the scene stated it appeared the vehicle traveled over 300 yards, completely out of control, while the vehicle rolled and struck trees. You tell me how fast he was traveling.
Woods told sportscaster Jim Nantz in video posted Sunday on the PGA
Tour’s Twitter feed that he was “feeling fine” but a “little bit stiff”
after his most recent procedure. He said he was scheduled to get one
more MRI.

Really? Look at the next big intersection you approach and see how much rubber has been left behind by people locking up their brakes to avoid running a red light.
BREAKING on@CNN.
Doctors say his injuries are not life threatening. However,he is in serious condition. He suffers from “compound fractures
Why, right here:
This guy was way over the speed limit... 157 posted on 2/23/2021, 4:51:53 PM by dragnet2 (Diversion and evasion are tools of deceit) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 155 | View Replies | Report Abuse]
Just watched his smashed SUV being lifted from the ravine, with a crane type lift.
Front windshield completely smashed.
He had to be removed from car, with jaws of life.
Report said he was traveling at a high rate of speed.
To my knowledge there is no left turn bay near the point of impact.
