It is. Better to shoot it, or trap and relocate. Or like I did, make the skunk a pet!
You had a pet skunk? Did you do something to get rid of the scent? They are beautiful. Especially the babies. At the other house we had a mother living somewhere, and she had three little babies and they were so adorable when they were all out.
I had a possum in my shed years ago and got my ex husband's nephews to get it out.
He trapped it easily enough in a cage and took it to the woods and let it go.
My brother in law should of called them! ha!
Scary critters but most are just nesting or looking for food when they come into your home area.So I was told.
