I'm sure he tried everything but as I said it made the situation worse.
I had a possum in my shed years ago and got my ex husband's nephews to get it out.
He trapped it easily enough in a cage and took it to the woods and let it go.
My brother in law should of called them! ha!
Scary critters but most are just nesting or looking for food when they come into your home area.So I was told.

We had a possum in Bakersfield, he was enjoying the avocados from our tree! We trapped him too, but didn’t where to release him where he could find food.
