The bums came up to me constantly outside the Marriot Hotel when ..err I smoke, to bum one or for money!
Wow I'm such a hick now and said no to all but two!

I told my Daughter do not go jogging alone or walking. But unfortunately she takes after me and does it anyway. I can't count how many of these people asked me for a cigarette or money. Ir's crazy expensive there also in the Medical Center. So outrageous!
Sadly, there are plenty of bums in the Med Center/downtown area.
They’re mostly peaceful bums, though 😱
They just want Avocado Justice....you know....your money, cigarettes, jewelry, etc.
We walked from an outdoor concert, back to our car, one night...and, must have passed at least five ‘asleep’ on benches.
San Francisco was bad, probably worse now. I must admit I would give money to some street musicians.
I was driving to Santa Rosa for Christmas at my daughter’s one year, stopped at a gas store with a Burger King. This guy asked me for change for some food. I gave him a twenty. The look on his face was priceless, and I watched him run into Burger King for food. Worth it.
