I am getting fund-raising emails from the GOP to beat the band. At least 3 or 4 a day. Now that the president has told them to stop using his name to raise money, I’m mildly curious as to how they’re going to sell themselves. lol

No snow or rain and nothing in the forecast, unfortunately.
There was a brush fire along the highway just out of town yesterday.
They jumped on it and quickly put it out.

RNC called me looking for a donation earlier this week. I told them that I will donate only to President Trump’s PAC.

I donated to President Trump’s PAC last Sunday, right after he announced it. I know there were people on FR that were hyperventilating because the payment is processed through WinRed.
I got tons of emails from the RNC from having donated since 2016 through President Trump’s website. I started unsubscribing to them last Sunday and they’ve slowed to a trickle. Took a few days though. We’ll see what happens.

I unsubscribed shortly after election day. Angry about RNC non-response to the obvious inconsistencies in the results. Furious that they were collecting money on the back of “help us fight this” when it was clear nothing was being done.
Anyway, you may start getting phone calls instead.
Judy - celebrate that stash of turkey rice soup in your freezer. Today is National Frozen Food Day.
Also, National Oreo Day.
Lol I may celebrate the frozen pizza instead. My turkey soup is in the freezer, waiting for the next time my son comes in to take it for doggie food.
I had a small bag of frozen vegetables in the freezer when I made the soup (Asian mix), so I threw it in along with my carrots, celery, onion, etc. Well, I had a bowl about an hour ago, and I thought I had accidentally put small strips of very thin plastic, or casing or something like that. It was unchewable and in every spoonful. I examined it and it looks like it’s a skin or something from a pea pod. It’s pretty strong - you can’t chew it and it ruins every mouthful.
The dogs won’t mind....they just swallow anyway. And it’s lots of rice, so that should be fine. It may be wasteful, but I don’t want to fight with my soup. I’m too old for that battle. Now maybe I’ll use the frozen turkey soup from last year lol.
