Lol I may celebrate the frozen pizza instead. My turkey soup is in the freezer, waiting for the next time my son comes in to take it for doggie food.
I had a small bag of frozen vegetables in the freezer when I made the soup (Asian mix), so I threw it in along with my carrots, celery, onion, etc. Well, I had a bowl about an hour ago, and I thought I had accidentally put small strips of very thin plastic, or casing or something like that. It was unchewable and in every spoonful. I examined it and it looks like it’s a skin or something from a pea pod. It’s pretty strong - you can’t chew it and it ruins every mouthful.
The dogs won’t mind....they just swallow anyway. And it’s lots of rice, so that should be fine. It may be wasteful, but I don’t want to fight with my soup. I’m too old for that battle. Now maybe I’ll use the frozen turkey soup from last year lol.

Since they wouldn’t let us send responses on those emails (other than donate) I figured unsubscribing that day would be my uh.....salute to them. Every time I unsubscribed and it would ask the questions like ‘Do you support the Republican Party?’ I would choose other. Maybe they got the idea.
I’ve been getting a ton of calls from all over the country, but since I don’t answer unknown numbers and they don’t leave messages, had to say if it’s political, car warranty, or health insurance! LOL
Today’s National Frozen Food Day?? And here I went to the grocery store to stock up on some good deals in frozen food and didn’t even know!!
