It was Katherine who did a lot of work on the Rush books, Paul Revere’s horse, etc. Then there was the iced tea thing (I still have some in my pantry).
She earned a lot of the money while she was married to him is my understanding.
No way they disliked each other. He really loved her, one could tell by how he talked about her.
Rush wasn’t all that lucky in marriage. First wife long before he became famous. Second wife total disaster, she had a son or some such that liked boys.
Katherine and him kind of fell in each others arms but I’m thinking Rush took care of his money. Katherine got a lot of it.
I’m thinking.
I dont understand what I am reading in that article
Rush hated his wife at the end?
that makes no sense
Rush hated the wife’s mother?
Someone explain this to me.
Just the way she looked at him when he received the medal...she loved him. I have no doubt.
Rush told Trump on a phone call days before he died that he “was married to an angel”.
I called the Rush Limbaugh Show years ago when they were selling his iced tea and offered to buy some to send them to the troops if the Rush Limbaugh Show would match what I sent. I spoke to a Katherine- now I realize it was probably his wife- and they matched what I sent!!!!!
A few notes:
*It’s “Kathryn.” I made that spelling error in my twit column right after his death :(
*Loved Two if by Tea. Best tea anywhere. He wound that down clearly thinking of his health, as they started not filling orders around November before his announcement. I think he had a feeling something was up.
*One interesting thing about his previous wives: their breakup agreements have been rock solid. Despite numerous biographies, hit pieces, not one of them so far as I know has come out and said anything about their marriage.
*I thought his marriage to Marta would work, but that was during his drug addiction time. She stayed with him through that then divorced right after. Some day, the details will come out and will be interesting.
