If the Supreme Court had ruled in our favor, the other side would always think they did it to help Trump.

Worrying about what "the other side" thinks about such a decision is akin to worrying about what the German soldier thought about the United States military in 1944. It's irrelevant. They are the enemy, and they'll always think that.
