Oh, yes. I had no problem sailing solo but it is easier with someone else.

From about the age of ten until I went to college, I spent every summer Sunday afternoon racing sailboats with my dad.

Sailing even got me out of some Sunday duty at OCS Newport because I was crewing for one of the Company Officers. We were sailing against officers from the Naval War College. As a side compensation, I also got two cold beers. What's not to like?
