New car slide.
I rent cars most of the year when on the road and I notice that all the smart cars have theater warning chatter features off. Seems nobody likes them.
Some cars the lane assist is sort of nice, it makes it feel like the line between lanes has a small mound to drift your car back in lane but it is inconsistent so I eventually turn it off again. It fails to see the line often.
The only feature I really like is radar regulated cruise control. Now that is the cats meow. Great for cross country. Try that if you have it before you trade. Turn all the rest off.

I don’t want it to TELL me I’m drifting, I want it to KEEP ME FROM DRIFTING in the first place. When I can drive hands free, I’m in.
