6 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Jude 6-7
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

How did fallen angels impregnate women and make Nephilim? And, why did they do this?
In Genesis 6 we learn that the primary cause of the flood was the emergence of a new, insidious threat to God’s plan of redemption. Fallen angels, called “sons of God” (ben Elohim) in Genesis 6, were taking women, called “daughters of men,” for sexual relationships. The result of these unions were a grotesque being scripture calls Nephilim. The Nephilim were giants, people who were grossly distorted by their unnatural origins.
Gen. 6:1 Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, Gen. 6:2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
Gen. 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Satan instigated this plan hoping to polute the human “seed” to stop God’s plan to bring forth a Messiah, the Seed, promised to come one day and destroy (i.e., bruise) Satan:
Gen. 3:15: And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.”
Clearly, the Lord could not stand by and allow such an attempt to succeed. Peter also refers to this occasion in his second letter in explaining the Lord’s response:
2Pet. 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment; 2Pet. 2:5 and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
The Lord punished the demons and destroyed the fruit of their evil labors. Clearly, the act of mating happened, and the demons involved in this sin paid a dear price, but apart from these references, we have little to help us understand how spiritual creatures can mate with physical beings. We do not know specifically how the demons impregnated women, but we do know of other circumstances when angels appear to men in the form of bodies. For example, Abraham is met by three “men” in Genesis 18:
Gen. 18:2 When he lifted up his eyes and looked, behold, three men were standing opposite him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth,
Later in the chapter, we observe these men eating with Abraham and speaking with him, yet they were not men. One was the Lord Himself and the other two were angels. So clearly, angels can take the form of men when desired.
Secondly, we know that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary. While we’re not suggesting that demons’ abilities are equal to God’s, nevertheless it demonstrates that Spirit and flesh can interact in ways we don’t completely understand.
So although the details are not provided for us, scripture testifies that demons and women mated in some way to produce a race of creatures called Nephalim.

Interesting. In my Concordance (The Eerdman’s Bible Commentary. “One of the best conservative evangelical....” from 1953 (rev. 1970):
They describe the “sons of god” in Genesis as princes of kings that worshipped various deities and the kings took on those deities names.
However, the same concordance says the “sons of god” described in Job are the angels, including Satan.
For Jude 6:7 the commentary talks about the angels behaving in a way inconsistent with their calling. But also refers back to Genesis 6:1, and that it was the angels sin that led them to try to settle on earth.
They also mention that Jude had knowledge of the apocryphal books that told the story of the angels and humans more “elaborately”.
Of course we can’t blame the flood or sin just on the fallen angels. After Noah was on dry ground:
GN 8:20-21: Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though a every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
Note also that God doesn’t say anything about fallen angels here either? (No need to mention them as they are all bound up??? Or - they weren’t the issue?)

There is a theory or belief that God continued Creating Humans after Adam and Eve.
The sons of God are the Created humans, the daughters of Men are the offspring they had.
They took them as wives and they began to have offspring, “Men of old, men of renown.”
The genetic traits were passed down, the genes are the “Men of old”, the “men of renown” the DNA continued.
“There we’re giants in the earth in those days;……”
That is still unclear and debated often.
Some believe giant humans, some think giant beast, dinosaurs etc.
But this:
“…..and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men,…..”
In addition to, “also”.
“……the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”
Doesn’t say they were giants, but seems to indicate that along with giants “also after that” people began to reproduce with each other passing the genes and DNA on. “….men which were of old, men of renown.”
Old men, old people being born?
Or did God decide not to rush our knowledge and give us an explanation of DNA/Genes/Traits?

God was in the spirit and not flesh, how or why would fallen angles be in the flesh when they were spirit? Man was flesh, not spirit.
Jesus said, “What is of flesh is flesh, what is of spirit is spirit.”
Meaning it’s two different forms of being/life.
The two can’t mix, and definitely can’t reproduce.
When someone was possessed by demons, the spirits said they were many but Jesus casted them out into a herd of swine, they then went off a cliff……..even if the demons somehow convinced the swine to reproduce (if they didnt go off the cliff) the result would still have been swine, not a Demon-Swine hi-bred.
