Is time to be talking about a replacement for Rush?
Here’s a link that is the basis for my previous comment (not the original link I saw, but says pretty much the same thing):
“Repeats of Rush Limbaugh’s radio show will air for three hours a day ‘until his audience is prepared to say goodbye’ - as devastated fans lay flowers outside his $51 million Florida mansion”
The show must go on.
Therefore...
I nominate Matthew J. Bracken to be the next Rush Limbaugh.
"I have some breaking news for you, on this breaking news night. You're not going to want to miss what I have to say after the break. Stay tuned..."
Because you asked. I think Todd Herman. He is sharp and really good at focusing on the issues and explaining them. Very much like Rush did. He is also surrounded by liberals in Seattle so he knows them well. My two cents.
Love Mark and Ken.
RIP Rush!
Agree on Crowder, he did a nice tribute to Rush, you can tell Rush is probably his biggest influence.
I agree on Mark.
Bill Cunningham
Steyn is it.
Steyn has very similar wit when dealing with issues. Love his accent too.
No one can replace him. I think Steyn could do the program and keep it going in the tradition of conservative talk radio.
It would be fun to see/hear him do it. I definitely would listen, I just don’t know if he could find three hours every day Monday through Friday to do a show like Rush would do. But that said who says it has to be exactly the same way rush get it?
But it would be great to see him getting into the heads of all these Democrats and living rent free there as Rush did.
Hi.
We will all know for sure on August 1, 2021.
5.56mm
It's the future.
Isn’t Steve Deace a never-Trumper? That’s what I remember about him, but haven’t hear him lately.
I can think of 50 million reasons he might e persuaded.
Yeah, THERE'S a great voice for radio.
You betcha.
Very good thoughts for the near future.
His first action was to let us know we weren’t alone in the wilderness the way we thought. He served us well beyond that also.
I first heard him in Aug 1988 as a young skull full of mush driving across the fruited plain from a big city summer job back to my college town.
Younger generations will find new hosts that speak to them, but I can’t imagine transitioning to a new one myself. I may listen to an opening segment now and then but could not tolerate someone other than Rush at the level of commercials interruptions common now.
He was one of a kind and irreplacable for those who listened for a long time. New people will come along for others, and I hope they do, but I don’t see myself finding a new talk show to regularly listen to.
I don’t think that I can take it. It took to long to bake his show and we’ll never have that recipe again.
“Dan Bongino.”
I agree but with the addition of a few others.
I look for the Trump quarter to invest large money into a new social media delivery system. I do not believe it will be structured the same as face book or twitter, I believe it will be improved from those concepts.
I also believe it will include the major right wing talkers and a truly honest “NEWS REPORTING” section that brings us the complete, true and factual news without the ingrained spin, slants, and lies of the left.
At this point in time damn near half of our country would sign onto this concept.
