Is time to be talking about a replacement for Rush?
Candace Owens.
I think Rush probably deliberated this issue for quite some time. There is a good chance he might have decided to let the show fade away. It sounds like the plan is to replay some of his broadcasts for the next ninety days, which could be a good-bye OR, possibly a replacement has a contract with another entity that has to expire.
Rush was a pioneer in making Conservatives realize they are the actual American majority and not aliens in their own country. He did this through news analysis, historic context from the Reagan era and America’s foundation, personal testimonials of success, and fearless parody of the hypocritical ruling classes.
But the effect of talk alone has been neutralized by the tech giants who control social media and the oligarchy of economic interests that still control mass media like Fox News Channel. What is needed is action, action, action.
This is why I listen to Steve Bannon and his Warroom show. He tries everyday to bring people together who can influence the future direction of this country and not just comment on it.
MyPillow Guy!!!
When I do get to listen to her, she is good. Can she fill three hours? Maybe she could be given the EIB microphone for a show or two as a tryout. Of the ones he has had so far as standard guest hosts, I’ve only found Mark tolerable, indeed he can be hilarious, if you caught his substitution for Tucker last night, I was almost in tears as he talked about bovine flatulence and that being his favorite after shave and taking a bovine onto a plane as a support animal.
The more I think about it, the more I think Mark Levin would be a great replacement for Rush’s radio program. Levin doesn’t have Rush’s sense of humor, but he sure has knowledge of the internal workings of our government and the Constitution, which would be a major requisite. The sense of humor would come as he got more comfortable in the job. Other than Levin, I can’t think of a decent replacement for Rush. Mark Steyn is okay, but only in small doses. He couldn’t carry three hours. Levin could easily carry three hours or more.
JMHO, but it’s not as though Rush died suddenly from a heart attack. He knew he had cancer, he knew he was in his last months, weeks, days, on earth. He made the statement that he had beat the predictions from the doctors of how much time they thought he had left to live.
I’m sure all arrangements and ideas for the show, or replacements, had been hashed out, by him, his wife, and his close friends, long before his actual death.
I know many freepers are not fond of him but I agree with you on Mark Levin.
Not possible
I hope they don’t do it like the Kidd Kraddick Show here in Dallas, the guy died in 2013, but they still call it “The Kidd Kraddick Show”.
Not to be a replacement but I would sure enjoy hearing from Candace Owens every day!!
That’ll be the day.
How about Mike Gallagher? 5 min. of indignation sprinkled in over 55 min. of relief factor commercials and plugging his Israel trip.
...or better yet Hugh Hewitt, the home of political androgyny.
...or even better yet John Stossel, the condescending arrogant elitist know it all good for nothing.
Tough to pick which one is the worst honestly.
I agree about Todd Herman. He’s really grown on me as he’s become Rush’s main sub.
Maybe Todd and Steyn can alternate.
Mark Levin show on Fox News is the only show I tape anymore from that network. The show he did about two weeks after the theft of this election, was incredible. He had a statistician on who destroyed the narrative that the election wasn’t stolen and was fair. I just wonder about whether or not he could also bring the humor that Rush was so famous for.
I’ve never gotten to listen to Snerdly for more than a comment or two, I don’t know how he would be as a replacement, giving him the mic for three hours would certainly be something I look forward to.
I would like to hear from Snerdley...didn’t see Hannity segment...
