Another TikTok user got themselves in a sticky situation – and some viewers are saying it’s a shameless stunt for viral fame.
Avani Reyes, 20, said she (HE) went to the hospital after putting Gorilla Glue in her hair "accidentally" in a video she posted to TikTok. It’s the latest beauty mishap with the heavy-duty adhesive to go viral.
"I don’t know what to do. This was an accident. I didn’t mean to put Gorilla Glue in my hair," Reyes posted in a clip to the social media platform, adding that the glue was burning her scalp and wasn’t coming off when she (HE) tried to remove it. Reyes posted a video of herself trying to comb through her (HIS) pink hair.
Reyes' beauty blunder comes a week after Louisana woman Tessica Brown – now publically known as "Gorilla Glue girl" -- went viral for being unable to get the Gorilla Glue she used to style her hair out after running out of hairspray. She later got it removed through surgery. But skeptical commenters called out Reyes on the app for appearing to copy Brown.
"Are you just mocking the other person that did this or did this really happen? Either way it’s wrong. you went to the hospital and wasted there (sic) time," one TikTok user commented according to the New York Post.
"You willingly did that after it happened to that lady & you have the audacity to ask people," one user commented according to the New York Post.
Brown chronicled her experience going to the emergency room in Chalmette, La., where the adhesive was allegedly removed using sterilized water and nail polish remover pads, she revealed in a photo shared on Instagram. The initial clip she shared with followers was seen more than 35 million times.

I’d like to see some idiot mistake Krazy Klue for Preparation H.
think their in it for the money, gofundme.
That’s a man? I have my volume off as usual, so I didn’t hear him speaking.
We are listening to someone for whom deliberate deception of the public is already an every day occurrence.
Absolute, unadulterated BS.
It’s an attention whore and is probably looking for a lawsuit against a doctor who won’t treat it for free claiming it’s because it’s a tranny.
It’s just is looking for a discrimination, transphobia charge to make against someone to win life’s lottery.
The comments at the link are priceless.
They don’t want just attention. They want $ from a Gofundme account.
That thing saw that the first idiot got $20K from GoFundMe, and was obviously trying to get some of that kind of money themselves. Good luck with that, moron.
Yes that too.
Keep it up you morons.
I just glued hair with Gorilla Glue.
No, really!
I have a really nice badger fur shaving brush I’ve used for years. A big chunk separated from the handle, perhaps a quarter of the bristles.
I used Gorilla Glue to reattach. Seems to have worked great, will know in a week or so once I’ve used it a few times. I just did this last night.
My kids got gum in their hair a couple times. I solved this with a scissors for a lot less than $12500.
My half brother is a trannie. Still question if he really is my half brother. Nonetheless, ever since he came out claiming that he is a woman, he has been a nonstop attention seeker. I doubt I will ever see or talk to him again.
Isn’t just the premise of “Gorilla Glue” kind of racist?
Asking for a friend.....
These Gorilla Glue morons seem to have applied it to the scalp, not just got some in their hair. If you’ve never used it, it’s really serious stuff that doesn’t wash off / come off skin very easily. I wear exam gloves when I work with it.
That would fog up the mind!
We should all launch the “Gorilla Glue Challenge” and promote it on liberal sites! Tell them it is to promote the end of white supremacy or something!
Give those morons a new way to protest!
Also African American? See what racism does to them?
