Even the diesel pickups are having trouble. We put the treatment in all our diesel pickups and still the fuel was gelled too much to start the truck. Several of our friends got theirs started and were on the road when they quit. I know our ‘newer’ pickups don’t have the plug-in engine heater. Our older ones that do fired right up.

A friend in Alaska used to light a small fire in a hub cap and slide it under the oil pan.

We use “Diesel 911” up here in Northern Idaho. Cost is about 10$ to treat 100 gallons. also you can buy fuel filter heater wraps too.
