Because it was mislabeled as “impeachment” and “jurisdiction” instead of what is was, an improper amendment to the Constitution allowing the impeachmen of a citizen not holding office.

The House improperly passed it with a majority vote. Any Rep could have requested a point of order to correct it.
The Senate shoukd have rejected it for what it was, an improper amendment.

The Constitution knows only the impeachment of an elected officer.
The article changed the language of the Constitution and was therefore an “amendment”

What is scary is that, this type of falderol once accepted, can be used on any text in the Constitution, including OUR Bill of Rights

Thanks for more details on it. Every congressmaggot who voted for this should be, imho, arrested. I’m sure a few charges would be suitable.
