I was wondering the other day about permanent flight restrictions-the only one I know of off hand is the Washington DC area.
Permanent flight restrictions: there are a few of them that are non-military, not many. Places like Disney World, George W Bush’s house, Washington DC. The are a lot of fleeting temporary flight restrictions (TFRs) that come and go. Most of those are for security like a VIP visit or a natural disaster area. They also go up for space flight ops. There are also permanent military operations areas. Those are different. There are a lot of them.
