The American Left has been very clear, public, and vocal on this point since at least the mid-1960s. Read what they themselves have said. Yes, they WANT a civil war. They imagine that once they hoist the red banner and declare the Revolution the proletariat will flock to their side by the millions and their victory will be quick, easy, and complete. Then they’ll be able to get on with the important business of creating their perfect Marxist socialist utopia.
As for anyone who *doesn’t* agree them? Well, they’re obviously counterrevolutionaries, and while it might be possible to save a few with rigorous struggle sessions, really, it will be easier just to kill them. What was Bill Ayers’ number? Killing 25 million Americans to achieve the goals of the Revolution was acceptable?
The “American” Left’s goals have been out in the open for at least 55 years. They are *proud* of what they intend to do to the rest of us and eager to get the chance to do it. TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY!
At this point, what choice is there? You can hope for an undivided US all you want. Unity to the Socialist/Globalists mean total surrender to their every demand. If you counter with true compromise, they attack you mercilessly and try to drive you from the public domain. They not only threaten destruction of the individual if they refuse to comply; they actually try to destroy that person through societal, financial, and legal means. They have even began to physically attack and kill people who disagree with them. The powers that be turn a blind eye to it; tactically endorse it as righteous, or understandable. It's not systematic, yet. The political class and media pundits are now openly talking about making it so, though.
So again, what choice is there? There are no more hills to retreat to. There is no one in the international community that will come to our aid. No matter who strikes the first blow (I'd argue the Socialist/Globalists already have, numerous times), Conservative and Patriots are going to be painted as the bad guys. So, we either embrace the fact that it is inevitable, and prepare as such, or we go down in history as another tragic footnote as victims of a vicious regime.
These are not GOP - they are communist insurrectionists who usurped the power of the Senate to attempt to wrongly condemn a man who was forcibly removed from presidential office by a totalitarian junta holding fraudulent elections and operating behind military-patrolled concertina wire topped fences. These “senators” are full fledged criminal members of the cabal destroying our nation and our government. These traitors have unleashed the whirlwind.

The Chinese have 'lost face' due to their being identified as the source of the covid pandemic,
much the same a Germany felt resentment after World War II.
In the Orient, 'losing face' is the dominant provocation for hostilities.
Add to that the obvious trade imbalances of the last few decades, and then Trump correctly identifying those trade imbalances,
the Chinese feel slighted, if not outright offended while they are trying to dominate and expand their "sphere of influence" throughout the world.
This Chinese plan is being accomplished through the "Belt and Road Initiative", whereby China invests in other countries infrastructure, a stratedgy that was developed in 2013 .
Currently, these strategy investments can be found by virtue of monetary loans and trade agreements can be found in over 70 countries.
Since these are massive loans that few countries can readily repay, the countries give up some of their national sovereignty,
and yield to pressures from China for land, trade, sea ports, and food stuffs and livestock.
The intiiative also includes government officials, press and media, international organizations,and is even into professional sports programs.
The rate of Chinese expansion is similar to the German Army Weirmarch sweeping across Europe in WWII ; that is 70 countries in only 7 years !

Peasants past were close enough to food production that they could see famine coming and prepare (however meagerly). They knew food later took effort now.
Today’s ‘peasants’ think food appears on shelves, and will be far from prepared when those shelves just stop restocking.
Watching them ESAD, single or as a group, would be reward enough.
Our military is a social experiment and is quickly going down hill; push come to shove, Xiden et al will invite Chinese troops in to do the dirty work - something they are good at.
I also wonder what % of US adults have ever actually worked hard outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Or gone a day without eating apart from medical reasons. It has to be the lowest % in all of history at this point.
Also, if the internet/cell phones/ passive screen entertainment goes away I imagine a sizable % of people will simply go into some sort of psychosis as they try to deal with reality without their screen interface.

Wow! Just wow! Back away from the crack pipe! Drop the amphetamine bottle! There is no way a government that is cowed into allowing rioting, murder, and mayhem to proceed unabated for over a year, which allows every major urban area to implement sanctuary laws for criminals and miscreants, and which screams to defund the police, will do a damn thing of significance to stop any state from seceding, especially not using nukes to destroy half the country. Such talk is absolutely ridiculous. The National Guard in Washington DC is just political theatre. The troops are not reliable and will not shoot on their countrymen in large numbers. In fact, it’s more likely that if such a thing is ordered the troops will shooting at each other.
