Look almost dead center in the photo. There is a green leaf pointed approx at 11 o’clock. Intersecting the leaf and pointed downward at approx 7 o’clock there’s a stick about the same length as the leaf. That stick is almost touching the snake. It helps to enlarge the photo as much as possible, at least on my computer.
I saved the enlarged “solution photo” on another computer. But I’m not at that computer right now, sorry. I’ll post it as soon as I can.
FWIW, I couldn’t find the venomous little bugger either. I thought I had along the top edge, but I hadn’t. Lesson for me: stay out of cotton mouth country!
