Absolutely true, this is an assault on all of us!
Here with my first slide of the day, another upcoming.
So, in my outgoing mail stack, are four replies to fundraising requests from the GOP. I finally have gotten tired of trying to make my thoughts clear while writing all over the front of the reply page. So I’ve typed up a response to include in all such correspondence, with appropriate edits made. Any suggestions before I put it in the envelope would be received with appreciation.
Dear Leader McCarthy,
We are in receipt of your recent request for a contribution to the NRCC.
I am assuming that any contributions we might have made would have been shared with the following House of Representatives members, should they choose to pursue reelection:
1. Liz Cheney 6. Fred Upton
2. Tom Rice 7. Jaime H. Butler
3. Don Newhouse 8. Peter Meijer
4. Alan Kinzinger 9. John Katko
5. Anthony Gonzalez 10.David Valadan
Therefore, we, in good conscience, cannot contribute to any PAC or GOP entity supporting people who voted for the impeachment of President Trump without hearing all of the facts, facts which were so ably presented by President Trump’s legal team on Friday. These facts displayed the utter hypocrisy of the Democrats who actually HAVE called for violence by showing footage of those statements.
The Democrats, in putting forward their laughable case, presented heavily edited video, deleting all exculpatory footage, as they have done for years against this President with the full cooperation of the complicit media, and many in the GOP.
So, don’t write to us about opposing Nancy Pelosi’s agenda. We’ll believe it when we see it. Washington truly is a swamp, and the GOP apparently has its own share of swamp creatures.
