Very good post generally.

Observation from one who’s done more lurking than research work:

Some FreeQs have decades of experience in discerning truth, sources, 3 letter lying techniques, programs begun when most of us were kids (or not born yet)

Some FreeQs are more recent truth seekers like maybe Ovomit’s NBC issues or W’s wars.

I think a few FreeQs may have just signed on as truth diggers when Q appeared.

And we have some later FreeQs who’ve drifted in all along but especially since the Nov 3 theft.

My point: we have all levels of experience in knowledge, discernment, truth finding skills etc. It’s clear some of those newer folks need some guidance and advice.

1)
I heartily applaud Ms. Ransomnote. Her massive MQD skills do help provide guidance to folks who don’t know who to trust or how to determine veracity. Not all of us agree on sources and we’ve dealt well with that for 3+ years. It works for us. But newer FreeQs do need some kindly suggestions. I think Ransom gives guidance in a thoroughly explained manner when needed.

2)
However, RN also has taken responsibility to keep us staying in our lane regarding FR forbidden topics and links. Some of the folks we read or listen to stray into those territories. All y’all experienced FreeQs know this. Ransom watches for those topics, she tries to keep the 8kun links and copywrited toons swept out.

3)
She also guards our FreeQ corner from being blown out from under our feet cause we are here at the kindness and grace of the board owner. Those folks BTT like to point out idiosyncrasies that make our research questionable.

All I’m saying is, Ransomnote is not your conscience (or boss.) But she is a danged smart lady so if she suggests you not use a source, you can analyze why. If it’s reason 2 or 3 above then we need to respectfully keep it off-thread but you can PM! And if it’s for a suspected CO, then use your own noodle/discernment.

Last thing I got to say is that I tend to see some of the same folks repeatedly discussing the stress, anxiety or depression from video/podcast blatherers. This is a need to stop watching for personal mental health. Having an off day is normal. Listening to people yak and letting your emotional state revert to negative drama is not good for you, your family or your social circle offline or online.

I may be wrong but I think sometimes Miss Ransom warns us away from commentary because we have trouble pickin’ wheat from chaff. Newbies get a pass on that because it takes practice (and prayer.) But hashing out those conversations is where this hive mind thrives. Just don’t believe everything you read or hear. You don’t have to agree with Ransom on a commentator. But you do need to *think* about the reason she warns and post accordingly.
