Nope, but I take Soma with my med often. It has gone up in price also and is now classed as a dangerous drug requiring a signature... I don't mind signing since in 25+ years I have never abused it but it strikes me as a bit odd. I trade off somewhat and use another muscle relaxant besides Soma: parafon forte, just to prevent building a tolerance to the Soma. It does not require a signature. I laugh and tell the pharmacist that I may be the only user in the state! š
My doctor is a fan of tramadol (Ultram) for pain management; it is helpful for some pain - not curative - but of little use for my spinal injury. Last time we talked he said he would write for more tramadol. sigh
Also, I won't take anything with acetaminophen if I can avoid it. But fortunately, the heating pad works most of the time. And aspirin during a bad day.
I had a really bad bought with sciatica and some surgical recoveries, so I am fortunate not to have to deal with consistent and constant pain. But when I needed it, and he mentioned Tramadol, we had an pointed discussion, and I got something much better.
Is parafon forte similar to flexeral, which is what I take?
